Oh gag! I think the rat on a bed of rice really grossed me out over the snake. How do you manage? Poor Grant. I'm getting another package off to you this week. I have been a guest teacher at the school where I retired. Last week I used YOU as the "hook" to the lesson on Northern Africa. The students were enthralled with the snake story, so I need to figure out how to share your photos next time I'm in their classroom. Thanks for making my lesson exciting and engaging! Take care Grant. Love, Auntie Cathy
Okay, Grant. I need to know, does the snake taste like chicken? How about the bush rat? I think that's pretty cool. On a more serious note, has microcredit made any inroads where you are? I read and heard a great thing by Nicholas Kristoff about that. Take care. We think and speak of you often.
Thanks for the fabulous pictures! I'm taking them to show the kids at school tomorrow. They'll love them!! Glad it was you and not me tasting the sn....Yikes, I can hardly type the word! Love Mom
Hi Grant, it's cousin Claire. I love reading your blog. You're such a good writer. John and I were laughing reading your yovo story. What a different life to be thrown into but what amazing experiences you are having. Take care. love, Claire
I can barely stomach looking at the snake yet along come to grips that you actually ate it. Impressive pictures. Glad you didn't pass that snake on the beaten path on your way home. Do you see many snakes there? I will be sending you some protein in the mail other than snake and bush rat.
